Please support and pray for our elect, who are preparing for baptism at the Easter Vigil. Our OCIA community will gather at the 9:30 am chapel Mass this Sunday, March 30 for the second Scrutiny. The entire Saint Clement parish community surrounds them in their journey of faith, so the rites are celebrated at the various Masses at which our community prays.
At last Monday’s session, Fr. Brett led the Rite of Handing on of the Creed. We will join them in responding affirmatively to the questions of the Apostles Creed throughout the Easter season, as we affirm our belief in God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We will be sprinkled with the waters reminding us of our own journey deep into the mystery of Christ’s life.
The link to register for the next session of OCIA preparation for the sacraments is now open. This cohort begins meeting Monday, May 5, with the sacraments of initiation scheduled for Sunday, October 5, 2025. The group meets Mondays from 7 – 8:30 pm, with breaks for holidays.
The OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation of Adults) is open to a) those seeking to be baptized, b) baptized Christians seeking full Communion with the Catholic Church and c) baptized Catholics seeking to complete their sacraments of initiation: Confirmation and/or Eucharist.
